WOOD TONER WOOD STAINER, WITCITA, KS (CONTRACT)

Pay: $18 - $25

Description

Exhibit ability to sand difficult furniture or assemblies.

Understand and apply knowledge related to different surfaces and buffing procedures

Identify and repair all imperfections (holes, ropes, pits, chip outs, blemishes)

Can achieve final look of Faux Finish with quality approved by Customer

Measure desired milimeter thickness of finish without assistance

Ability to maintain and repair paint systems

Can repair solid matte laminates using appropriate materials and airbrush

Ability to apply top coat

Ability to determine compatibility of wood trim and veneer

Employee must be able to interact professionally with customers and management

Develop stain/toners per customer sample request.

Basic Qualifications

Education HS degree or equivalent

Minimum of 5 yrs experience

Ability to develop and match stain colors for veneer and hardwood furniture

Toning skills - adjust colors to match the customers final sample color

Ability to apply stains to the veneer and hardwood

Finish process knowledge
