Job Classification: Direct Hire POSITION SUMMARY-The Maintenance Manager is responsible for development, organization, and implementation of plans to effectively utilize technical resources to meet overall equipment effectiveness targets taking a hands on approach. Must have recent experience with highly automated assembly machinery.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure Maintenance Team supports both Preventative Maintenance through analysis, planning and scheduling and Reactive Maintenance through a rapid response team and support for Continuous Improvement.Maintain a high performance maintenance team through effective communication, goal setting, coaching and mentoring, skills development.Drive for best in class quality and safety utilizing root cause corrective action methodology.Formulate and install standard procedures and plans based on comparative analysis, methods, and costs.Create a work environment conductive to employee morale and motivation to accomplish performance objectives.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience with manufacturing equipment or a combination of education and relevant experience. Must have 5-10 years hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems on automated manufacturing equipment. Must have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
