JOB SUMMARY:
Our industry leading Automotive Aftermarket Division is currently seeking an Underwriter. This position is responsible for determining risk acceptability of policies and growing and maintaining profitable book of business.

Job Requirements

JOB DUTIES:

• Evaluates submissions for basic program acceptability to determine whether to quote or to deny.
• Previews all submissions to ensure application is complete and contains all necessary information.
• Requests further information from Account Executives as necessary.
• Responsible to underwrite and maintain a renewal book of business.
• Researches all requests for acceptability per underwriting guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 3 to 7 years related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to effectively present information.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• High levels of accuracy along with a specific focus on timeliness, productivity, and quality.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
