Genesis10 is actively seeking a RequirementsAnalystfor a 6 month contract with possible extensions. This position is within the Telecommunications industry and is located in Overland Park, KS.

Description:

As a Requirements Analyst, this person will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements and specifications for OSS platforms. This person will work closely with delivery lanes (Engineering, Field Services, Service Assurance, Deployment & Integration) to assess business needs, develop business use cases, functional requirements, process flows and technical requirements. The analyst will also be responsible for supporting the management of the projects that are created in support of the requirements. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment. The successful candidate will be customer focused, result oriented, and passionate about delivering innovative quality services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain close relationships with delivery lanes and other internal functional areas to ensure that business priorities are met and that efficient processes are being followed.
• Work with business partners and internal IT teams to understand and document requirements for projects. This includes performing analysis, developing use cases, and creating functional specifications as needed.
• Work with development staff to ensure that requirements are sufficiently detailed and clearly understood.
• Facilitate discussions between business partners and development team to ensure that proposed technical solutions adequately meet the business need.
• Communicate status of efforts to management and business partners on a regular basis.
• Ensure that all stakeholders have accurate and current information throughout the process.
• Manage small to medium size projects by coordinating development, schedules, communicating status, managing issues and risks.
• Serve as the primary communication channel to the business regarding the applications.
• Manage functional/system requirements throughout development cycle until delivery.
• Provide high-level technical overviews and insight where appropriate.
• Support communication between business team and OSS organization throughout system development life cycle.
• Serve as the point of contact to business partners for new initiative assessment.
• Conduct frequent and formal meetings with key business partners to review / discuss requirements for the specific functional areas under responsibility.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years Business Analysis/Requirements Analysisexperience.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Meeting facilitationexperience.
• Excellent communication skills.
