Position Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:Provide Core Engineering Design and Optimization for Sprint?s Network Vision program.Contribute Core Engineering support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, Transport and Technical/Training Support to fulfill multi-technology wireless network deployment across customer markets. Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required: This position will require a very focused, energetic, and proven leader in IP networking and vendor management.5+ years of hands-on experience in IP networking, preferably for a wireless telecom carrier.Necessary Skills/Attributes for this position the following skills and abilities must be demonstrated at a proficient level:Applicant should have extensive technical knowledge and experience in Core and IP Networks. Applicant should also have experience in Project/Program Management.
