Job Description

[Software Development] Ability to program unassisted in Visual C# (C-Sharp) 3.5 Expert-level capabilities with Microsoft LINQ (Language Integrated Query) (LINQ-to-Objects) and (LINQ-to-XML) Ability to understand and utilize a ?functional?-style of programming (as in the style of F#) Ability to program with a high-level of object-orientation (classes and interfaces) Expert-level of understanding of Web Services Advanced understanding of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Ability to create and maintain Console Applications, Windows Forms and Web Applications Expert-level of development in ASP.NET Ability to understand and maintain Visual C++ (MFC) programs. [Data / Database] Ability to process bulk data in various manners (Disk IO, Database, Web, etc.) Expert-level skills with Oracle and ODBC (including MFC ODBC) Administration of MySQL, SQL Server and Access. Administration and use of MS Visual Source safe on multiple servers [Operating Systems] Administrator-level ability with Windows Server, Windows 7, Windows XP Super-User ability with HP/UX using KSH Windows system administration and scripting through Windows Powershell. Advanced manipulation of the Windows System registry manually and through automation [Web Based] Administration of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) Administration of Apache servers (running on MS Windows) Ability to maintain CGIs in various languages including C# and C++ Ability to use REST APIs in XML [Networking] Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP An understanding of various Microsoft Protocols (WS*, MSMQ, etc.) [Communication] The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels. The ability to produce clearly-written communication to engineers, analysts and managers. [Spatial Analysis] Understand differing geocoding methodologies and how to incorporate differing codecs into a single analysis (working from MapInfo, ESRI, PlanetEV, etc) Familiarity with creating point and polygon files, and manipulating them Experience with Alteryx, MapInfo, ESRI ArcGIS, Tableau, and/or other software packages for performing spatial analysis [Business Intelligence] Experience with Inferential Statistics (Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, ANCOVA, etc.) Baseline knowledge of financial models (linear/non-linear regression models) Familiarity with ?R? or other statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, etc.) Ability to tie together disparate data sources and types into a cohesive analysis (data manipulation, REGEX, parsing techniques and ways to normalize data) Making data actionable to various team members [Other] A willingness to work on task-oriented activities as well as time-oriented 24 x 7 on-call support We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
