Position

Würth Service Supply, Inc. is currently looking for a top-notch Warehouse Lead for the Wichita, Kansas branch, to maintain overall operational efficiency in the warehouse.  Regularly, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for hands-on warehousing duties and team leadership.  He/she will perform the following duties, as directed by the Business Manager and/or Warehouse Supervisor:

• Freight receipt, breakdown and put-away;
• Incoming visual inspections;
• Maintaining inventory organization;
• Preparing customer orders for shipment;
• Scheduling and organizing delivery schedules;
• Delivery of customer orders;
• Maintaining warehouse equipment and supplies;
• Productivity/performance reporting.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years in a team leadership or supervisory role within manufacturing or distribution environment
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel) and ability to become proficient in Company integrated database systems
• Experience with handheld scanning devices
• Ability to lead warehouse employees and promote teamwork in achieving branch goals
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified; professional experience with various forklifts
• Ability to lift and move 40-50 pounds regularly; up to 70 pounds occasionally
