Job Description

Manufacturing Paint Prep

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT, 1ST - 5TH

Use of Respirator may be necessary. Applicant must be able to pass respirator physical, spirometry and fit test.

Mixes and applies fillers as a part of prep for paint.

Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.

Sand primers and fillers in prep for paint.

Must be able to identify surface defects that require prep work.

Previous manufacturing paint experience required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Previous paint prep or paint experience preferred (Automotive body work a good fit)

Basic Qualifications Working Conditions - Physical requirements and environment

Moving, lifting and carrying of moderate weights

Standing/sitting all day is a requirement of some work centers.

Exposure to one or more of the following: fiberglass, unpleasant fumes, epoxies and/or propellants.

Manufacturing environment not climate controlled

PPE ??? Safety Glasses / dust mask/respirator

Previous manufacturing paint experience required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
