Talent Solutions Manager The Talent Solutions Manager role is designated to support the temporary workforce at a customer location. Essentially, the position acts as extension of the customers human resources department by developing and maintaining the relationship with the customer and temporary employees through best in class service. The responsibilities include but are not limited to working with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, facilitating the process to acquire temporary staff, and then ensuring orders are filled timely and with competent/qualified employees. The individual will need to understand and be able to speak to the customer processes, procedures, and policies. In addition, they will be held accountable for meeting and exceeding the overall level of service delivery at their location. Their success will be highly impacted by their ability to develop working relationships with the customer and the operational support functions within Kelly. They must understand the importance of being a true team player. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- The Talent Solutions Manager will assist in the identification of customer needs and potential solutions. The individual must have thorough knowledge of the customer processes, policies and procedures and be able to understand their objectives and strategy. Approach to customer needs may include the need to be strategic and/or innovative in the solution or recommendation.
- Must be able to successfully partner with customer end-users - essentially functioning as an extension of their HR department by developing strong working relationships with the customers and temporary employees. Must have complete knowledge of our contract to ensure 100% compliance.
- Works with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and facilitate the process for acquiring temporary staff. In conjunction with the Hub, guides the entire order lifecycle by ensuring those duties that are done at the customer location are completed. Works with Kelly recruiters to define needs proactively and for specific orders to ensure optimal talent acquisition. Ensures the activity is meeting or exceeding our contractual service level agreements. Utilizes order lifecycle interactions to develop future business opportunities for Kelly whenever possible.
- Manages the temporary workforce. This includes a variety of functions including but not limited to: on and off-boarding, conducting reviews, benefit explanations, coaching, counseling, terminations, co-employment, sexual harassment investigations, exit interviews, workers compensation, etc.
- Manages overall account P&L where they have managerial responsibility (e.g., manages cost of services, documentation of cost savings, and demonstration of value-added services to the client)
- Analyzes monthly financial statements and implements strategies to increase profitability
- Analyzes and reviews reports/statistics, taking action when necessary. Creates ad hoc reports as required.
- Identifies, articulates, gains buy-in, and implements areas of opportunity for process improvement.
- Must be able to participate in the preparation and presentation of routine business reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA or BS in Business, HR, Marketing or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2 years recruiting, staffing or vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in screening, hiring, orienting, training, assigning, and managing temporary employees. Must also be able to market candidates to hiring managers and negotiate salary rates.
- Must be able to function in complex and matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of individuals is essential.
- Good communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, interpersonal and decision making skills are required. Individual must be able to function independently/autonomously yet know when to get management involved. Must also be comfortable interacting with and potentially influencing many levels of management both within Kelly and the customer.
- Must be innovative in their approach, willing to take risks and operate successfully in ambiguous situations.
- Attention to detail - with the ability to multi-task, use sound judgment and prioritize are necessary.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills required.
- Must have proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
