Description

Based in Wichita, Kansas and reporting to the Supervisor, SmartFix Plus & New Programs, this position is a New Programs Focal for the Learjet 85 aircraft.

In your role, you will:

- Review SFP troubleshooting requirements and procedures to ensure they meet Customer Response Team (CRT) requirements to support AOG and Field Requirements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of product improvements, service bulletins and other related information.
- Capture Flight Test information needed for CRT In Service use.
- Develop training plan to ensure Customer Response Team (CRT) is prepared to support our customers at EIS.
- Support Flight Test Program and help develop the role of the Field Service Specialist during the Flight Test Phase.
- Work with Engineering to develop and execute strategies to reduce No-Fault Found (NFF), Mean Time between Unscheduled Removal (MTBUR), and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).
- Use computer to create documents, as well as use computer and applications to diagnose aircraft problems; use computers to diagnose software issues with aircraft and cabin completion items.
- Tracks and maintains a CRT Master Schedule and Task List throughout the program
- Regularly uses online Bombardier databases, manuals, bulletins, advisories and other web based tools.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of computerized and non-computerized machines and equipment in order to provide efficient service to the group.
- Develop processes to better support customers at EIS.
- Develop an Entry Into Service (EIS) Plan to ensure the CRT is prepared for EIS.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you will have the following:

- Must have seven (7) years of experience in aviation or aviation related field.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Must have excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office.
- Must possess the ability to work with minimum supervision, be a team player and have project organization skills.
- A strong, comprehensive knowledge of planning projects is preferred.
- Engineering background is preferred.
- Prefer candidate with comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and familiarity with avionics systems.
- Some travel, up to 20%, will be required.
- A flexible work schedule may be required at times to support program needs
