Essential functions of the position are:

  • Implement marketing strategy across key communication touch points
  • Develop copy to support graphic design of all marketing mix elements (advertising, banners, collateral, etc.)
  • Write quarterly  corporate newsletter, monthly electronic newsletter (business unit specific), weekly Green Journey blog, trade journal articles,  product data sheets, package graphic copy, press releases 
  • Assist organization with communication across channels (trade shows, digital communication, journal articles, etc.) 
  • Public relations/crisis management
  • Capture the voice of each PROSOCO target as project specific communication objectives require
  • Bias for research, including surveys and  interviews as a source for communication content
  • Integrate communication tactics into strategic marketing plan to drive PROSOCO brand equity
  • Contribute to marketing plan objective setting (penetration, awareness, recommendation, trial)
  • Assess deployed communication tactics to determine effectiveness

Knowledge & Skills

  • Keen interest in the latest innovations in communication, and the ability to translate those trends into action 
  • Basic understanding of design & composition
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills while working with all levels within the company
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing including social media
  • Photography
  • Design support (photography, graphics)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem solving skills and project management to meet project deadlines and work under time constraint pressures

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism.

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
