Responsibilities
Account Manager-Wellness
Responsible for maintaining high service levels and growing business relationships within our Health Benefits Solutions top revenue producing national customers, managing reseller relationships and Fortune 500 accounts. Responsible to manage strategic ownership of accounts including the development of client relationships across executive positions. Responsible to work with a Strategic Account Executive, Health Educators and other internal business partners to expand and enhance business relationships with existing national clients by upselling and ensuring compliance to existing contracts. Maintain positive client relations and supply clients with information concerning all HBS products and services. Meet or exceed base budget and revenue targets, as defined annually.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining H&W relationships and service levels and growing business relationships within Employer and reseller customers.
- Expand and enhance H&W business relationships with existing national clients by upselling and ensuring compliance for existing business. Maintain positive customer relations and supply customers with information concerning all H&W products and services. Seek opportunities for cross-selling of other Wellness products/services.
- Meet or exceed base budget and sales quotas, while managing accounts minimize account attrition and negative volume variance.
- Identify customer concerns, customers in jeopardy, and consult with customers to identify products and solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Work closely with HBS's sales regions, specifically with Account Executives, Health Educators and other internal business partners on sales, implementation and service strategies for new and existing customers to achieve business objectives.
- Travel to accounts to enhance business relationships, advance sales as part of sales team, and resolve issues; up to 20% travel.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree; degree in Business desirable; experience may be substituted for a degree; course of study in project management or planning also desirable.
Knowledge:
- Ability to learn, operate and train reseller customers on H&W suite of services.
- Proven ability to work independently with good time and territory management. Ability to make independent decisions and manage large projects that directly impacts our business and the business of our clients.
- Strong skills needed in consultative problem solving, attention to detail, financial and operational analysis and process review.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication. Demonstrated negotiation skills and business acumen.
- Fully competent in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SalesForce.com. Willingness to receive specialized training and become certified in various product/program lines. Ability to learn, operate and train other end-users on QD client applications.
- Experience with laboratory information systems preferred.
Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in client management or account management with a fortune 1000 company.
Special Requirements:
- Travel up to 20% in order to establish, maintain, and advance a sales pipeline for all products and services.
