Job Description
This position will be taking orders, calculate and quote prices, following up on back orders, all troubleshooting on issues with orders, check in with vendors on open orders, compose quotes to customers and heavy follow-up on all above. Research and investigate products and negotiating best price for customer. Position also will be mailing out product literature but heavy focus on up selling and generating sales opportunities promoting new products to new and existing accounts. Must be comfortable with inside sales and be comfortable working in a fast pace environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. organized, TEAM PLAYER A MUST and some formal education or 4 year degree a plus. Management experience or leading a team is also a plus. MS Office.. (Any AS400 or JD Edwards) This individual needs to be someone who would make a good leader, motivator and is professional with internal and external individuals. 4+ years experience working in a Manufacturning, Distribution or like industry in inside sales/customer service. Must be motivated, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good leadership skills, team player. Experience working with internal and external customers, sales reps and good troubleshooting skills.
