HRIS Analyst at Lawrence

Job Description

SUMMARY: Assists in providing support for the design, testing, implementation, data management and auditing of HRIS systems. Develops, run and distributes reports from the company HRIS using Crystal reports. Provides analytical and discretionary skills to multiple projects. Supports HRIS administrative staff as needed
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. To perform this job successfully, the HRIS Analyst may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed.

  • Assists in providing support for the design, testing, implementation, data management and auditing of Company HRIS systems.
  • Interfaces with a variety of internal and external customers, and the technology group to determine reporting needs and oversee the development of customized reports.
  • Uses advanced levels of Microsoft Excel to prepare, manipulate and present employee related data for use by Human Resources and other departments.
  • Assists HR staff with navigation through Company HRIS system.
  • Assists HRIS & Compensation Manager in auditing Personnel Action transactions; identifies errors and works with HRIS staff to make corrections; update Personnel Actions by running the PA100.
  • Assists in developing, running, and distributing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports using Crystal Reports as requested.
  • Gathers data and compiles statistical information for federal compliance reports and compensation surveys as requested.
  • Assists HRIS & Compensation Manager in the oversight and management of survey participation and analysis.
  • Assists HRIS & Compensation Manager in developing and maintaining Affirmative Action programs; annual filing of the EEO-1 and Vets-100 reports, and compiling data necessary for federal statistical information as requested.
  • Assists management in communicating various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards.
  • Provide necessary reports to facilitate employment verifications and unemployment claims as requested.
  • Assist HRIS & Compensation Manager in monitoring and maintaining the HR department P1 intranet page; reviewing HR forms and documents for posting; and monitoring, updating and maintaining job descriptions and post on the P1 intranet as requested.
  • Oversee the Company Employee Service Recognition Program and manages the distribution of required federal, state, and company postings.
  • Assist the HRIS & Compensation Manager in administrating the company recruiting system, including maintaining and updating as needed. Periodically audit job templates in recruitment system for completeness and accuracy and create new job templates as needed.
  • Assist HRIS administrative staff in supporting all duties.
  • Completes special projects and additional duties as directed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; or five years General HR experience to include two years of relational database experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in federal reporting and using crystal reporting tool is preferred.
