Document Research Technician at Olathe

Job Description

AIG has an opportunity for a Document Research Technician in its Olathe, KS Claims Processing Center.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Research incoming First Notice of Loss e-mail and create accurate and timely First Notice of Loss claim record. Provide customer with acknowledgment of new matter.
Research all other mail items and attach images to the appropriate OneView file in a timely manner, using internal systems in accordance with established procedures.

Ensure documents are batched correctly by document processing, and assigned a correct claim number.

Research all unidentified documents to make proper identification utilizing all tools made available.

Adhere to established departmental production and quality goals.

Escalate problematic or sensitive issues to a subject matter expert or department manager.

Ability to produce a quality product in a high production environment.

Possess critical attention to detail.

Ability to work independently.

Adaptable to constant process changes.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).

Excellent computer, including a thorough knowledge of Windows Office products is essential.
