Job Title: Sr. Staff Accountant

Job Location: Wichita, KS

Job Purpose: Responsible for the complete financial statement management and reporting

Job Duties/Traits:
Manage month-end close process and compilation of financial statements
o Collection of all applicable documents prepared by other positions within the company
o Compile all period-specific documents and general ledger data into financial statement presentation format in a timely manner monthly
Reporting of the financial statements to management and other vested 3rd parties
o Includes overall company financial statements, segmented financial statements, departmental financial statements, and month-to-month comparison of the financial statements
Preparation of executive summary including benchmarking and non-financial operations
Manage the Accounts Receivable functions
Preparation of reconciliations and other supporting documents, and preparation of close entries necessary for each monthly close
Prepare accurate and timely data for auditor requests to help decrease audit costs
Handle unscheduled requests for analysis of information with urgency and accuracy
Provide estimated financial data for future periods
Needs to have a personal commitment to growth in knowledge and understanding to keep up with the needs of our growing company

Skills/Qualifications:
Requires previous experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
Requires Bachelors degree in Accounting
A CPA or strong interest in completing the CPA Program a plus
Proficient with MS Word, Excel
Prefer experience with Sage products
Analytical and problem solving skills
Able to work both independently and in a team setting
