Job Description
Responsibilities - Patient Service Representative:- Answer inbound calls, carefully assess their purpose, prioritize their handling, and triage the calls if indicated.
- Enroll new customers to pharmacy program
- Record activities via charting in Siebel and perform follow up (injection training, AJ2s, and mailing of promotional materials) to secure services for our customers by contacting physician’s offices, pharmacies and home health agencies/nurse contractors.
- Completes various special projects as required.
- Varies depending on team assignment (call center, enrollments, home health). Individuals may be cross-trained and work on more than one team concurrently.
Shift
- Need to be flexible between 7AM - 7PM (Monday - Saturday)
Job Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
Experience Preferred:
- Computer literacy and good keyboarding skills
- Experience working with databases (CRM preferable) or a tracking system
- Experience working in a health care/pharmaceutical industry environment
- Understanding of challenges associated with patients’ medical condition
- Experience dealing with customers on the telephone or in face-to-face in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
- Call center experience
