Assistant Controller at Overland Park

Job Description

A well established Kansas City based company with strong annual revenues is seeking a Assistant Controller for their Johnson County location that has high growth potential!!!

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting for this business unit.
• Determine appropriate revenue recognition, capitalization, and expense methods.

• Month-end close process, financial reporting, preparation of internal monthly reports, balance sheet analysis.

• Support the company with budgeting, forecasting, client negotiations, ad-hoc requests.
• Coordinate quarter end and year end audits with external auditors.

 

Job Requirements

• 4-Year Accounting Degree, CPA preferred

• 2+ years management experience working in capacity w/ comparable business line experience

• 2-4 years Big 4 public accounting experience (Preferred) but not a must
• Strong revenue recognition and financial reporting experience
• Strong leadership skills, progressive work experience with increased responsibilities
