Shop Laborer at Wichita

Job Description

We have an opening for a Labor position at our Waste Connections of Kansas shop in Wichita, KS.
Job duties:

• Drive to our vendors and pick up ordered parts.
• Maintain the organization of the parts room in accordance with Company policy
• Actively work with vendors, mechanics and management as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the locker rooms, shop floor and yard.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Some heavy lifting may be required

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a position requiring physical and manual labor.
• Previous work experience in a loud environment
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing workload
• Valid Drivers license and ability to drive a company truck to pick up parts
• Ability to get a CDL within 90 days of employment
• Must be available to work Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm
• Ability and experience operating a fork lift a plus but not required
