Job Description
Welder
Weld materials of designated thicknesses. Prepare steel and stainless steel material and parts for arc or gas welding.
- Prepare steel parts for Mig, Tig & PTA welding
- Weld materials per welding processes and procedures
- Dress and grind parts after welding
- Develop working knowledge of types and sizes of welding materials
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts
- Practice good communication with employees at all levels
- Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress or emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments
- Interact professionally when interacting with customers and employees
- Work in an environmentally responsible manner
- Understand and support Company philosophies, goals and directions
- Produce and maintain a consistent quality of work
- Recommend improvements for area product and processes
- Set the department standards in areas of housekeeping, attendance and teamwork by example
Other duties as assigned
1 – 3 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- General computer knowledge
- Must be able to understand and read blue prints
Must be able to understand written and verbal directions
Shifts:
1st- 8am- 4pm- Starting Pay 15.00/Hr
2nd- 4pm-12am – Starting Pay 16.00/Hr
3rd- 12am- 8am - Starting Pay16.00/Hr
All shifts train on first at 15.00/HR then moved to 2nd or 3rd shift at 16.00/Hr
All Shifts are Monday-Friday, unless otherwise directed by Supervisor after Hire.
All Candidates must have High School Diploma or GED to be Considered.
Candidate Must be able to Pass a Pre Employment Hair Follicle Drug Screen.
