Occupational Therapist Job: Occupational Therapist position in Wichita, Kansas. Assignment length: 13 Weeks. Shift: Days 8

The Occupational Therapist provides quality occupational therapy to clients; this requires evaluating and assessing patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities. The Occupational Therapist will provide treatment according to a written plan of care that meets established goals set by the healthcare employer; in a hospital, out-patient clinic or home health setting. The ideal candidate will excel at planning and communicating with patients, their families, and the rehab team. Reports shall be produced as needed; the OT may also be in charge of clinical students and support staff, including certified/licensed assistants, technicians, and volunteers. A strict adherence to the AOTA Code of Ethics and ability to establish a great rapport with patients is highly desired.

Job Requirements

Candidates must have a valid professional license within the state of practice. (We will assist with obtaining additional state licensure where applicable.)

Additional certifications and experience are preferred and may be required for specific positions
