Packaging Production Lead at Gardner

Job Description

Kane/Kalstar is looking for a full-time Packaging Production Lead for the following shift:

Monday thru Thursday, 5:30am - 4:30pm.

Packaging Production  leads will have responsibility and accountability for directing packaging production and providing training and direction to the line leads and temporary associates working on the line. Ensure lines are running properly including safety and quality. Report any and all discrepancies and concerns to the Customization Supervisor.

- Monitors production. If error is identified, product must be rebuilt correctly

- Identify issues to ensure a clean and safe work environment 

- Ensures that all appropriate documentation and communication occurs including daily review of technical standards

- Ensures associates are trained on the equipment being used

- Ensures associates have the proper equipment to perform the duties

- Accountability to ensure product is built exactly to technical standards

- Identify damage and discrepancies based on technical standards

- Reports concerns/issues

Job Requirements

High School education or equivalent

Ability to deliver a quality product using the most efficient and effective methods

WMS, Lotus Notes Email, S.A.P. and Kronos training preferred but not required

Strong math skills for Inventory and Billing

Knowledge of quality systems to identify quality alerts and quality incidents

Prior production experience preferred. Leadership skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work hard on your feet are all a must.
