We are currently seeking an experienced Engage Life Director / Activities Director to join our team at Atria Hearthstone East in Topeka, KS. The primary job function of the Activities Director is to create a fun and innovative recreational program for our residents. We are looking for a high energy, dynamic person to fulfill one of the most essential positions in our company. Job Requirements

-Bachelors Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field plus 2 years experience working with senior populations ORAssociates Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field plus 4 years experience working with senior population1+ years planning and running group activitiesExperience with seniors highly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer literacyExperience teaching, mentoring or coaching othersExperience coordinating and scheduling volunteersKnowledge of humanities, creative arts, world history, cultures, entertainment and exerciseMust have excellent organizational and time management skillsMust have a great sense of humorMust enjoy seniors!
