This position will be located in Wichita, KS.As IT Data Operations Supervisor, you will have demonstrated skills and experience including:Broad, deep expertise in Microsoft server technology.History of establishing and communicating common goal and direction with teams.Successful record of sharing technical knowledge with employees through training and guidance.Project manager skills leveraging specialized technical knowledge in meeting schedules and budget.Ability to make well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous application development issues.Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.Ability to create complex prototypes.Ability to remain informed of the most recent technologies and technological processes and continually hones your skills and capabilities.Your specific responsibilities in this key position will include:Drive the development and implementation of server and application configurations to meet the needs of the business.Perform troubleshooting steps as necessary to resolve problems. Lead problem solving efforts that involve different teams both internal and external.Directly aide management in the design and implementation of new processes and procedures to meet both departmental and corporate goals, help document the changes and communicate those changes to the organization.Lead innovation and increase efficiency in current processes and procedures.Mentor and educate other team members on new technologies and best practices.Ensure high availability of critical applications.Ensure CCH stays in compliance with all applicable audit standards such as SOC2/3, SAS70 and PCIUndertake complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous issues.Monitors project schedules and costs.Contribute to a trusting and respectful environmentLeverage and capitalize on WK?s global resourcesMaintain awareness of how actions impact revenue projections and budgetsAssist in driving growthAs a highly qualified candidate, you will have a history of success in a collaborative environment, contribute to an innovative culture, and achieve or succeed goals and objectives.As IT Operations Supervisor, you may be tasked with additional duties relating to information technology and administration such as conducting assessments of external service providers, providing guidance directly to our customer, participating in troubleshooting exercises with other Wolters Kluwer business units, or assisting Global Shared Services with specific information technology projects

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline; OR, if no degree, 15 years of IT work experience.10 years IT experience, including:2 years supervisory experience;Experience dealing with top tier hosting vendors;Experience in supporting SaaS applications or private cloud or Enterprise back office solutions;Experience working with international teams.Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008.Experience with IIS, Microsoft?s web server application modulesPreferred Qualifications:Governance, IT general control framework, Cobit, ITIL, and other similar technology.SSAE16 (SOC2 and SOC3), SAS70 or other IT related audits.Microsoft Windows Server 2012, highly preferred.Microsoft Certifications such as MCA, MCSE, MCSA.Citrix certifications such as CCEE, CCIA or CCAA(CCA).Direct experience with PCI security requirements.Application development experience, preferred .Agile development methodology.Data-driven decisions, recommend innovative & effective strategiesIndependently manages multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, while remaining focused.Drives projects and initiatives through to completion.Participates in design meetings to develop product specifications.Tests and evaluates new technologies for possible implementation into infrastructure.Responsible for maintaining adequate documentation on assigned projects.Travel Requirements:10 percentApply to:https://www.wolterskluwer.apply2jobs.com/ProfExt/index.cfm?fuseaction=mExternal.showJob&RID=9571&CurrentPage=1About Wolters KluwerWolters Kluwer (www.wolterskluwer.com) is a market-leading global information services company.
