Job Description
A national company specializing in experiential marketing is seeking talent acquisition specialists to help with their recruitment efforts. Recruiters are responsible for sourcing high-quality and reliable part-time employees as event personnel that promote products through product sampling, demonstrations, and other high-impact promotional vehicles. Duties include:
--utilizing multiple recruitment strategies to increase talent pool, including cold calling from profiles in a database, posting positions online, networking with existing talent, and sending recruitment flyers to businesses.
--working with clearly defined timelines and communication processes to ensure successful staffing and execution of events
--providing part-time employees with clear expectations, product knowledge, and necessary documents prior to an event, as well as collecting all post-event materials
--taking responsibility for tracking and ensuring successful execution of all events staffed by recruited employees
Qualified candidates will have prior recruiting experience, and must be able to thrive in a self-directed environment. Shifts will be from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and will include weekends. $13.00/hr to start. Contract to hire. Please send resume for immediate consideration.
Job Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
--High school diploma or equivalent
--1-2 years experience in recruiting
--Excellent customer service skills and presence on the phone
--Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
--Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
--Ability to work in a team environment and serve as a back-up when teammates are absent
Preferred qualifications:
--Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, or communications
--2+ years experience in sales, client services, or marketing related to Event Marketing industry
--2+ years experience in event staffing
--Advance Excel, PowerPoint
--Advanced public speaking skills
