LABORER at Columbus

Job Description

Advantage Metals Recycling Columbus yard, a leading metals recycling company and known for our quality people, is currently seeking a Laborer that will work directly with customers and buy, sort, and process scrap metals.

The ideal candidate will have:

2 years experience working in an industrial outdoor environment
Previous customer service experience preferred
Experience with Skid Loader/Skid Steer/Forklift preferred
Ability to follow established procedures and processes consistently
Willing to work overtime with or without advanced notice
Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
Able to adapt to frequent changes of priority
Able to complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision
Stable Work History
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to identify and differentiate metal materials, preferred.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs on occasion
Able to pick up loose material 0-25 lbs from the floor on a constant basis

Candidates will be subject to a criminal background report that includes a credit check.
