Iron Operator-  Wichita, KS

The Associate is responsible for ironing of  either continuous roll towlers (CTs) or linen napkins, and the mending of ant CTs needing repair.

Stage cart of CTs next to Table.

Pull Towel from cart, it a swing motion lat CT out on table, so that it lays flat. Remove rubber bands from CT and place in rubber band cart.

Complete all CTs that were washed that day.

Pick up CT from the table and drop the end of the CT into the Ironer pit.

Keep all lanes active until all CTs have been run.

Must have full understanding of use of Iron and what to do for ironer emergency stops, including the push stop bar.

Group standard-feed/catch napkins  40 per operator hour
Group standard feed/catch CRTs 62 per operator hour
Group standard LAYOUT CRTs 175 per operator hour

Must have excellent attention to detail and follow all safety guidelines.
Strong commuication and ability to multi-task.
Previous experience in large wash/dry clean or linen preferred.

Must be able to work in a fast pace
