Currently, Flint Hills Resources is looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our team at our world headquarters in Wichita, KS. Environmental Engineers at Flint Hills Resources provide technical support and compliance oversight for FHR sites on a broad range of programs including remediation, waste, water, air programs.


We will look to you to lead development of corporate environmental performance standards and to assist in due diligence and growth projects per FHR and HSSE team vision and plans. We are looking for a candidate with both strong technical skills and strong interpersonal skills who wants to grow their career in a knowledge sharing culture.


Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in federal, state environmental regulations and application to industrial facilities (e.g. NSPS, NSR/PSD, MACT, Title V, LDAR, NESHAP, HON/MON, Texas Regulations, RCRA, SPCC, CWA/NPDES, SARA, SWPPP, etc.)
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or other related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous environmental experience in the refining or petrochemicals industry
