To operate mobile equipment, paint equipment and prepare material for shipment.

Ideal Canddiates will have had previous industrial painting experience orautomotive painting experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Receives work assignments, verbal and/or written instructions from supervision.
• Receives material to be painted and prepared for shipment.
• Works from bills of material, blueprints, process and shipping documents, written procedure or verbal instructions.
• Checks machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Operates mobile equipment to load, unload or transport material and equipment throughout plant and deliver or pickup purchased goods, etc. outside of plant premises as instructed. Operates coating line equipment as directed.
• Performs operations such as label, stencil or tag domestic and export shipments figures cubic feet and kilos on export orders, weighs parcel post orders and stow freight on trailers as directed.
• Assist in routing shipments, prepares bill of lading, packing lists and other shipping documents as directed
• Applies paint to pumps, component parts, equipment structures and machinery with spray gun, paint brush, rollers, etc. as directed. Place waste paint and solvents into proper containers.
• Prepares pumps, parts, castings, patterns, etc. for domestic or export shipments and labels, weighs, loads, blocks freight, as instructed.
• Checks and adds fuel, oil or water to mobile equipment as necessary and performs minor servicing to vehicles, such as change tires, check battery, etc. as required.
• Prepare production card or log sheet and turn into supervision.
• Reports defective material and equipment to supervision.
• Maintains good housekeeping by keeping the workplace, tools, material and equipment clean and in proper place. Observes all safety rules and watches for safety of others.

• Second Shift Position
• Starting Pay: $19.70 per hour with shift differential
