Project Controls Sr Associate-Scheduler at Overland Park

Job Description

Primary Purpose
  • The Planning & Scheduler position provides support to the project by maintaining and reporting schedule and cost.
  • Under appropriate supervision, the incumbent performs routine project controls assignments according to training, capability and experience.
  • With additional experience and demonstrated capabilities, the individual is expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works in a team ensuring schedule is maintained.
  • Maintains the project Change Management Program.
  • Maintains on time delivery reporting under supervision.
  • Assists in invoicing to owner
  • Budget & EAC
  • Assists in schedule fragnet preparation and resource loading.
  • Prepares and maintains PES reporting.
  • Assists to schedule updates & forecasts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: BA, BS, or MS graduate, but may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas
  • Reporting with Advanced EXCEL must test.
  • Education: Four year degree in a related field or equivalent experience in other functional areas.
  • 1+ years in planning/scheduling; business systems maintenance, cost engineering, and/or construction management preferred.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Experience using Primavera (P6) software; will consider others with extensive MS Project or other scheduling software experience.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • 3+ years planning/scheduling with Primavera (P6) or MS Project
  • Telecom deployments experience a plus.
