Job Description
Primary Purpose- The Planning & Scheduler position provides support to the project by maintaining and reporting schedule and cost.
- Under appropriate supervision, the incumbent performs routine project controls assignments according to training, capability and experience.
- With additional experience and demonstrated capabilities, the individual is expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments.
- Works in a team ensuring schedule is maintained.
- Maintains the project Change Management Program.
- Maintains on time delivery reporting under supervision.
- Assists in invoicing to owner
- Budget & EAC
- Assists in schedule fragnet preparation and resource loading.
- Prepares and maintains PES reporting.
- Assists to schedule updates & forecasts.
- Education: BA, BS, or MS graduate, but may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas
- Reporting with Advanced EXCEL must test.
- Education: Four year degree in a related field or equivalent experience in other functional areas.
- 1+ years in planning/scheduling; business systems maintenance, cost engineering, and/or construction management preferred.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Experience using Primavera (P6) software; will consider others with extensive MS Project or other scheduling software experience.
- 3+ years planning/scheduling with Primavera (P6) or MS Project
- Telecom deployments experience a plus.
