Operations Analyst at Kansas

Job Description

Summary:

The Operations Analyst is responsible for creating, validating, and preparing productivity reports. Additionally, creates budgets analyzing P/L reports and presenting data/recommendations to the Senior VP of Ops. Essential Functions:This is a full-time Junior Operations Analyst position.Specific duties include:
  • Identify improvements on the workflow or system and collaborate with the operations team and supervisor to implement the necessary changes.
  • Establish control on the system in order to make sure that operational performance and service level are being met in accordance with a set cost and budgeting expectations.
  • Identify the factors that can measure the achievement of the strategic and operations related to the revenue generation projects.
  • Provide fast and efficient response to business needs with the highest achievable result at the lowest cost to the company.
  • Develop a standard process for evaluation of the impact of an operations potential query and the consequent communication of result.
  • Perform electronic resolutions of the work systems for record keeping.
  • Maintain the understanding and awareness of the customers on a particular product and do recommendations for future modifications and addition of features to a new product.
  • Creating budget reports to analyze P/Ls.
  • Support the company values and product opportunities.
  • Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned to him by his superior.

Job Requirements

3-5 years of Operations Analyst experience in the waste industry or hauling industry. 2 years budgeting experience required Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint 2007. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and works well with minimal supervision. Ability to meet deadlines for reports and other required paper work. Strong organizational skills Strong financial analysis and reporting experience. Setting up purchasing programs preferred
  • Experience with Softpak and Route Ware is preferred.
