Job Classification: Contract Aerotek Scientific is currently searching for a Formulations Chemist for our GLP Pharmaceutical Client in Olathe, KSJob Description:Formulate and dilute all medication for clinical trials.Must be very accurate with dosages.-Provide radiolabeled and/or nonradiolabeled test article formulation and vehicle preparations as needed for preclinical studies [This will be the current primary responsibility] -Assist in developing study protocols in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines -Assist study director or work as a Study Director for analytical method validation studies -Act as contributing scientist for dose formulation analysis -Assist in Analytical method development -Responsible for preparation, set up, and conduct of analytical studies -Compile, analyze, and perform quality control checks on analytical study data -Assist study director in the preparation of protocols and reports, compilation of data, creation of data tables and graphs, writing/checking reports, and the archiving of raw data -Will be proficient in the preparation and maintenance of complete study files, regulatory submissions and responses, and the QC checking of study data -Maintains proficiency in the use of computers for automated data collection and word processing -Identifies and solves problems of partial complexity -Comply with site and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), DMPK, Toxicology and Pharmacology Laboratory Methods, Good Laboratory Practice regulations (GLPs), and departmental policies. -May be assigned to some non-project administrative tasks -Advanced knowledge of scientific specialty -Assure compliance with GLP and help address audit findings Qualifications-Must have 2-5 years of Chemistry experience in a GLP Pharmaceutical Facility.-Must have Formulations experience.-Proficient in HPLC-Ideally must have team leadership or supervising experience.-BS in ChemistryQualified candidates may apply directly to this posting, or email me their resume directly at czimmer(at)aerotek.com Join Aerotek Scientific®LLC, one of the fastest growing providers of scientific and clinical research services in the nation.
