Highly reputable and trusted hospital in Overland Park, Kansas is looking and hiring for an experienced Inpatient/Outpatient medical coder to add to their team! This learning hospital has won numerous awards and is nationally recognized.

Duties for this Medical Coder include:
- Coding Inpatient charts with ICD-9-CM
- Abstracting of charts
- Coding Outpatient charts utilizing ICD-9-CM and CPT

Job Requirements

The right Medical Coder will have:
- Minimum of 2 years ICD9 and CPT experience
- Associates in Health Information Technology
- RHIA or RHIT accredited
- Familiar with EMR software
