Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its subsidiaries own or have interests in nitrogen fertilizer plants in the United States, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago.The companies cover global demand through terminals in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, France and the United Kingdom. Koch Fertilizer, LLC and its subsidiaries; including Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC and Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC; have the capability to market and distribute more than 12 million metric tons of fertilizer products annually.

THE OPPORTUNITY: This Senior Financial Analyst will be working closely with Koch Fertilizer Management team to understand the day to day profit drivers and ensure the business results are tracked in a way that is consistent with managements view of profit drivers and business vision. In addition to management, this role will require interaction with a broad range of trading, accounting, IT, and logistics professionals (both domestic and international) to provide flexible reporting and analytical solutions that meet the needs of management. This role will also be heavily involved in driving the ongoing management reporting revolution within Koch Fert.

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven finance professional that can drive solutions that are flexible, user friendly, and match with the needs of our ever growing knowledge based company. This role will be heavily involved in providing management reporting direction for KFs overall reporting platform including Essbase, OBIEE, and HFM.

A successful applicant will clearly understand and articulate business activity and key drivers to a diverse audience (both finance and non-finance). The candidate must have good business acumen and keens systems skills to allow them to com up the learning curve quickly. They will help drive enhancements to our technology platform to work in a way that is interactive, flexible, and intuitive for the end user community to get the insight required to run a global commodity based business.


Requirements:

• 3+ years analytical reporting experience
• 3+ years accounting experience with emphasis in functional, financial and analytical reporting experience
• Strong critical economic thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to grasp complex issues as well as pay strict attention to details
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Powerpoint/Excel)
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution

Preferred:

• Proficiency with OLAP Technology (Oracle Essbase 11.1.2.1 BSO/ASO, Essbase Studio, SmartView, Administrative Services, Shared Services, LCM and Financial Reporting Studio, Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase Analytic Link)
• Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition/Foundation
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems from an accredited institution
