CME Product Line Specialist (30-13) at Leawood

Job Description

Acts as the day-to-day liaison to marketing partners for portfolio level and MOC-product level promotional activities. Coordinates essential product related information and tasks within the division to provide to internal marketing departments. Project manages the Continuing Medical Education (CME) department deliverables that impact the timeline to ensure campaigns are on schedule. Proofs creative materials and coordinates additional review of creative materials with relevant stakeholders. Assists with invoice tracking and coding. Provides email support to the CME division. Develops reports to measure product performance and analyzes data to facilitate data driven decision making to support improved performance. Demonstrates behavior and attitudes consistent with the AAFP Culture Document and Operating Values, the CME Product Line Specialist is a Process Expert accountable for working with marketing and product management staff, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and vendors to support and promote CME activities that meet educational outcomes and financial goals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or knowledge acquired through equivalent work experience, plus a minimum of four years related work experience.
• Skills required include: ability to read and interpret financial reports, budget development and reconciliation; ability to develop presentation materials and present to various audiences; ability to demonstrate and sell products in an exhibiting environment; and the ability to understand and apply ACCME Essentials and Standards for Commercial Support and other applicable laws or regulations with which AAFP-provided CME must comply. 
• Excellent project management and oral/written communication skills required. 
• Computer skills include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. The ability to work independently and in teams necessary.
