Job Details:

Supervise and participate in the electrical assembly, installation, erection, and preparation of electrical equipment and related structures designed and manufactured by ProEnergy Services for the electric power generation, transmission, and distribution industry.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Perform routine task under direct supervision.

Conduit bending and installation.

Quality trim-out installations

Wire pulling procedures.

Wall rough-in.

Fixture rough-in.

Demonstrate proper care of tools and equipment.

Demonstrate a basic knowledge of blueprint reading.

Install all sizes of conduit and cable both branch and feeder.

Terminate junction boxes.

Install fixture connections and underground and under slab rough-in.

Operate equipment, trenchers, personal lifts, and company trucks.

Demonstrate an understanding of all classes of hazardous locations, seals, components and equipment.

Layout from field sketches.

Terminate panels, switchboards, single and three phase transformers; and also motors and motor controllers.

Perform two week look ahead for tools, material and Labor Tracking.

Demonstrate the ability to receive and account for materials delivered to the job site.

Plan, layout and install branch circuitry.

Install and bond panels, transformers, feeder conduit and wire; and other service equipment.

Troubleshoot and correct short circuits and ground fault circuits.

Demonstrate the ability to complete required paper work in a timely fashion.

Possess the ability to read blue prints and ability to terminate cable.

Install and trouble shoot control wiring from drawings.

Train helpers and apprentices who they work within site safety and installation skills.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must acquire a journeyman license.

Must possess four years of previous commercial or industrial electrical experience.

Ability to work in a fast passed manufacturing environment.

A thorough knowledge of electronic/electrical components and equipment including the use of special instrumentation for diagnostic purposes.

Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel individually or in a team environment.

High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances.

Must be willing to travel as required.

Must be highly safety conscious.

Residents of Missouri are required to have a Class E Drivers License.

Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc).

Candidate must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.

Travel may be required.

Essential Functions:

Exposed to high voltage electricity

Ability to climb in overhead structures; work beneath machines and in close quarters performing installation, analysis and repair work.

Ability to walk construction site, climb ladders, climb stairs, walk on uneven ground, lift a minimum of 50 lbs., ability to regularly be exposed to sun and varied weather conditions

Well organized, ability to multi-task, analyze/interpret and make a rational decision, verbal, written and math skills a must.
