Job Description
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining LAN and WAN networks of companys Information Technology infrastructure. This includes designing, planning and implementation of equipment, procedures, and policies to ensure availability, security and performance of systems that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Design, document, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) systems.
- Maintain all documentation for network and security environments and solutions.
- Analyze network activity and performance, using network logs to troubleshoot and track the nature and resolution of problems.
- Complete project level objectives in partnership with project management.
- Manage and support hardware and software for remote connectivity.
- Security monitoring, incident management, threat management.
- Install, support and maintain network appliances for Video Conferencing, Web Filtering, etc.
- Perform regular and on-demand network config backups and recoveries
- Assist in coordinating and supporting IT special projects.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience managing all aspects of enterprise networks.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco equipment configuration, administration and troubleshooting in a large-scale, multi-site environment.
- Ability to design complex, multi-layered networks with high availability and security.
- Solid understanding of network monitoring tools, network analysis, network troubleshooting, and proactive management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
- Superior decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work on-call and after-hours for projects and support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Cisco Certifications (CCNP or equivalent).
- College degree in the field of Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking and security for storage, and virtualization solutions.
- Ability to work on a team of people spanning geographies, cultures, and time zones.

- F5 LTM Load Balancers
- Dynamic Routing EIGRP and BGP.
- LAN and WAN QoS management.
- Layer2 switching technologies Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, Virtual Port Channel.
- Storage and Server Networking Protocols.
- SNMP, Syslog, IP SLA, and Packet Capturing based network monitoring tools.
