Health Data Analyst

The Kansas Foundation for Medical Care has an immediate opening for a Health Data Analyst. The Health Data Analyst supports the analytic functions of healthcare quality improvement projects conducted in collaboration with healthcare facilities and/or managed care plans. The Health Data Analyst is also responsible for conducting and interpreting primary, secondary, and exploratory analysis in support of those projects.

Job Requirements

Applicants must possess, at a minimum, a four-year degree in a field related to statistics, mathematics, data, and/or qualitative methods in health sciences. A minimum of two years’ experience in an information systems or research environment, including use of PC applications for data manipulation, production of tables, charts, graphs, etc. is required.


Educational background in study methodology a plus. Advanced knowledge and/or demonstrated skill with Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SAS, SQL Server Management Studio, or other data manipulation and analytic tools is preferred.
