ELearning Manager at Overland Park

Job Description

Overview:

The Manager of eLearning Services is responsible for the administration of the eLearning team and services. This includes managing customer relationships, finding and managing vendor and contractor relationships, overseeing the creation of high quality and creative eLearning content (both internal and client driven), and overseeing the high availability hosting of hosted client sites and support for those sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage eLearning clientrelationships.
  • Manage team members by assigningprojects and tracking completion.
  • Manage and create client driveneLearning initiatives.
  • Manage and create internal(eLearning) driven initiatives.
  • Run weekly eLearningadministrative meetings and track projects.
  • Support and configure hostedsites.
  • Support Training STS in theireLearning sales process.
  • Work with clients and AEs to findcreative solutions to eLearning problems.
  • Anticipate market needs andtechnology shifts to stay relevant.
  • Manage contractor and vendorrelationships.
  • Attend eLearning and eLearningtechnology training and conferences.
  • Update and refresh existingcontent.
  • Find and implement new eLearningtools.
  • Administration of computersystems used in LMS, including planning, architecture, security andregular maintenance.
  • Establish rapport with existing,new and potential vendors for the purpose of security existing business aswell as expanding FishNet Securitys Computer Based Training (CBT) courseofferings.
  • Provide performance management, training, coaching for direct reports.
  • Oversee hiring and selection process for direct reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Job Requirements

    • High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED) required.
    • Bachelors Degree (B.A.) fromfour-year college or university; orfour or moreyears related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencerequired.
    • 3 years eLearning contentdevelopment and eLearning program management required.
    • Previous experience managingdirect reports preferred.
    • 1 or more yearsof demonstrated leadership experience required, including peer coaching,resolution of escalated issues, and/or department training.
    • Demonstrated decision-makingskills concerning Education Practice policies, standards, and processes required.
    • Proficiency with Internetnavigation, e-mail, and MS Office products required, including advancedknowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with Linux, Apache,Postfix, VMWare, MySQL, Active Directory, and Adobe Captivate required.
    • Outstanding time management and organizational skills required.
