RN House Supervisor - Nights at Olathe

Job Description

Evergreen Community of Johnson County, a 112-bed long term care community is looking for a RN House Supervisor. Evergreen Community is an area leader in person-centered care/culture change. Hours:

 

Night Shift House Supervisor -  Monday - Thursday, 10:00pm to 8:00am

 

 

Job Requirements

• Active nursing license in the state of Kansas

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a long term care facility. 

  Provide direct nursing care as necessary, such as: temperature checks, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, etc.
• Treat wounds, administer medications, apply dressings, insert catheters, etc.
• May make rounds with attending physicians.
• Observe residents, help in evaluation of residents’ needs, develop care plans, and supervise the care provided by nurse aides.
• Understand and follow all current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long term care facilities.
• The successful candidate is expected to complete medical forms, reports evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary, including doing so primarily using a computer. RN/LPN is responsible for the clinical needs of 112 residents.
• Must be computer literate, Point Click Care experience a plus.
