Job Description
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a non-profit organization that advocates for children involved in the court system due to abuse and/or neglect. This position will handle all office and management responsibilities including volunteer recruitment, training and supervision; court interaction; grant writing and other fundraising; public speaking; financial management. The successful applicant must be able to work independently and be able to communicate, interact with and supervise people from all backgrounds and to pass required background screenings. Experience working with non-profits, social service providers and/or the legal system is highly desirable as is an educational background in social work or criminal justice.
