Web Developer at Overland Park

Job Description

We are seeking a front-end developer to work closely with creative design and mobile back-end developers to create highly interactive HTML5/CSS3 based content for web based applications. They will work in a collaborative team-environment and communicate status to both technical and non-technical project members guiding UI/UX tool best practices, including documentation and education of internal and 3rd party designers in team design standards and practices.

Qualifications

We need a strong,client-driven front-end developer. This position requires someone who can take ownership in a team environment to move an application from design to release in a fast paced environment without losing sight on quality. They will need experience developing for the mobile web and be able to innovate and prototype for mobile and tablet experiences. Technical qualities should include most of the following:

• Expert level experience in hand-coding client-side Web development (XHTML, CSS), with an understanding of HTML5 & CSS3 animations & transitions.
• Complete understanding of responsive web design and related development techniques.
• Proficiency coding object oriented JavaScript that leverages frameworks such as jQuery.
• Basic understanding of MVC architecture patterns.
• Thorough knowledge of design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Understanding of source control systems including TFS and SVN.

Desired skills

• Exposure to .NET and RAZOR development.
• Examples of rapid prototyping using frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
