Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek is currently accepting resumes for a full time position with a strong company in the Kansas City area. Opportunity will offer great room for advancement in a family oriented, fun, and exciting place to work. Small team environment, where Engineering is the focus. Selected candidate will have the ability to gain experience in multiple areas of Electrical Product Development to include Embedded Software/Firmware, Hardware, Testing, and Electrical Design. Initial work will include porting Assembly code to C on Freescale processors. Will lead into gaining experience with full life cycle design of Electrical Products from cradle to grave.Requirements:-BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent-1-5 years of professional experience in Embedded Software development. Internship or co-op experience in addition to degree is acceptable.-Experience programming with Embedded C is required, Assembly language experience preferred.-Qualified candidate will need to have good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple members of the team as well as other members of the organization in different groups.This position does not qualify for sponsorship now or in the future.
