Job Description

Performs unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance work in the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of the citys infrastructure, parks, streets, plants and facilities. Entry level position.Key Responsibilities:

Perform construction, operation, repair and maintenance on assigned systems.

Operate a variety of equipment including trucks, snowplows, salt spreader, hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, electronic test meters, pumps, and various other vehicles and equipment.

Participate in housekeeping duties, grounds and building maintenance.

Perform on-call duties and overtime and other duties as required.

Experience: No experience is requiredEducation: High School diploma and the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.Supplemental Information:Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - FridayAvalidClassA commercial drivers license (CDL) with tanker endorsement within90 daysof employment.A background investigation, physical and drug screen required.
