Project Engineer

 

Summary: As a hands-on senior member of the management team, oversee the planning and design of engines, tools and machinery for manufacturing. Be responsible for the installation as well as maintenance and repair of the HVAC equipment including water and steam systems.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Work from reports, blueprints and drawings to implement operating procedures and solve system problems
• Study design proposals and specs to for feasibility and costs
• Specify system components or make changes to ensure conformance with engineering design
• Oversee drafters in the design of products and tools
• Liaise and communicate with design engineers
• Manage projects of varying size and scope such as installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimum function
• Conduct ongoing research to test and analyze the feasibility, design and performance for equipment and systems
• Recommend modifications as needed
• Manage cost; perform estimate and bids for engineering, construction. Prepare contracts.
• Supervise and evaluate contract workers, technicians and engineers.

Job Requirements

 

 

Requirements:

 

• BSc Engineering
• Prefer Licensed Engineer
• Must have significant Industrial Mechanical Engineering experience
• Minimum 5 years  design experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with canning or bottling and packaging
• Full Relocation package
