In this role, the trainer will keep abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems in specific areas of expertise. This could encompass training of Clinical staff or Customer Service individuals in the Training Delivery Operational functions and will include some aspects of the design process.Excellent clinical and computer skills required; highly developed communication and people skills; able to accept feedback in a constructive manner; ability to engage others and deal with difficult situations; ability to challenge others to excel without offending; Team player and able to assist both individuals and groups in learning new skills; ability to challenge resistance and negativity towards new workflow/procedures/processes, and at the same time, able to deal with being challenged. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Measuring and monitoring employee performance, skill sets and knowledgeDesigning training programs based on analysis to increase employee awareness of new products and performance requirementsIdentifying performance issues and generating solutions for problem areasWriting clinical training program materialsEvaluating training program effectivenessPrioritizing training initiatives and educational efforts to ensure urgent issues are addressed promptly and resolvedDesigning and developing clinical training programs and curriculum modulesCoordinating and scheduling the implementation of trainingAssisting project teams in identifying performance issuesConducting new hire orientation and systems trainingThis trainer position will be primarily responsible for the effective delivery of training programs for the Team(s) managing business in the State of Kansas. Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems. May also be involved in the design process. Positions delivering operations specific training, such as Clinical Staff or Customer Service, are in the Training Delivery-Operational function.Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.Works with less structured, more complex issues.Serves as a resource to others.Job Requirements
