Corporate Financial Analyst at Overland Park

Job Description

Corporate Financial Analysts are responsible for creating and maintaining financial analysis and reports, and may partner with other business units performing more specialized functions within the Finance Department.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Calculate, analyze, and audit significant amounts of data in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports, variance analysis and commentary.
• Support business partners with ad hoc financial requests.
• Produce operational reports of performance measures and metrics for management.
• Help develop and implement processes and procedures which increase team effectiveness.
• Serve as the teams subject matter expert by being the initial point of contact for questions on systems, policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree from four-year college or university.

1+ years previous work experience in finance or accounting preferred.

Advanced Excel and database skills.

Ability to effectively communicate with Finance, IT resources, and other departments at all levels

Must possess high degree of professionalism and a high level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

 1+ years working in a Investment Banking Role would be ideal.
