Job Description
Job Duties:
- Recruit, interview and match skills of associates to customer needs
- Conducts daily activities to ensure a constant flow of available applicants
- Perform face to face interviews with applicants
- Perform screening procedures including; employment verification, drug screening, skill testing and assessments, etc.
- Develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring sufficient coverage of staffing needs
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall mission
- Communicate with clients and decision makers
- Stay current on constantly changing developments regarding workforce policies and law
- Identify sales leads
- Provide information on policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
- Handle questions and resolve work-related problems
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a staffing specialist/coordinator role (3 yrs preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
- Ability to shift back and forth between tasks
- Knowledge of general human resource topics (recruiting, application process, interviewing, hiring) required
- Able to listen to business customers and understand specific candidate qualifications required to meet employers’ needs
- Able to listen to candidates and assess suitability and interest in employer positions
- Must be flexible, congenial and adaptable
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Organized, able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment
- Must be able to follow company procedures
- Must have good computer skills
- Must be flexible to work overtime when needed
- Must have valid driver’s license
