Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek is currently seeking a Histology Manager to supervise 3-4 Histology Technicians for a diagnostic laboratory. This individual will ensure the labs schedule meets the needs of their clients, staff is appropriate, equipment is in working order, training, and lab is stocked with inventory.Qualified candidates must have experience with -Supervising or leading a group of technicians -Training in Staining, grossing and cutting tissue animal tissue preferred -Flexible working with a growing company and handling change -Leadership training to effectively work with many types of personalities -Experienced with moving a team to hit deadlines and managing laboratory equipment The schedule will be normal core hours for now 8AM-5PM or whatever is needed for the business however they will be accepting samples via FedEx and therefore eventually will have a shift starting around 3AM.Education and Experience requirements 5 -10 years as an ASCP certified Histologist in a lead or supervisorial role Join Aerotek Scientific®LLC, one of the fastest growing providers of scientific and clinical research services in the nation.
