Job Description
NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a hard working and enthusiastic Inventory/Retial Specialist to join our growing team of Auto Parts professionals.

The primary function of this position is to manage inventory returns to our Distribution Center from our District Stores. This is achieved by a cycle of on site inventory evaluations in each store, determining what needs to go back to the DC, packing up and preparing the inventory and keeping careful record of all transactions.

The secondary function of this position is the Merchandising/Presentation role in our District Stores. Detailed responsibilities include:

Maintains planograms and installs updates on a timely basis.
Insures that high presentation standards are maintained in fronting, pricing, full shelves, housekeeping, and promotional sign utilization.
Manages store upgrades as required.
Manages POS support effort of Company initiatives such as Six Pack, Real Deals, Retail Sales Driver, etc.

Qualifications

Job requirements include:

Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line abbreviations to ensure proper identification of parts to be returned.
Basic Computer Skills, and use of excel spreadsheet preferred.
Must be capable of lifting and moving parts of up to 60 lbs. and push/pull 300 lbs. using a pallet jack.
Must be able to follow directions.
Must be able to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
Must be able to pull and pack product in a way to minimize/eliminate damage.
Must be able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts.
The successful candidate will have exemplary attendance.
Must possess a clean driving record within the last 3 years, a valid drivers license and meet Company driving standards
